A walk along the Camino de Gibraltar from 1000-1200hrs produced the following:
Griffon Vulture, Short-toed Eagle, Booted Eagle (dark and light morph), Common Kestrel, Eurasian Sparrowhawk,
European Bee-eater, 2x
Alpine Swift in with a mixed Common/Pallid Swift flock, Thekla Lark, Stonechat, Zitting Cisticola (good to see one so close to the village), Sardinian Warbler and Serin. Common Cuckoo and
Common Nightingale were heard - there were two Nightingale, one in the first southern valley and the other in the second, they were the first for the year. There were several butterflies about including Scarce Swallowtail and Spanish Festoon.
