Thursday 26 May, 1100hrs, Gaucin, overcast, warm: Glad I decided to walk instead of driving this morning as I added a new 'tick' to my Gaucin list when a juvenile (2cy) Eurasian Hobby flew over the puente on the Ronda road and headed off north up over the shoulder of La Umbria scattering the local Swifts as it went. Also saw, or heard, Great-spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Iberian Chiffchaff, Sardinian Warbler, Blackcap, Robin and Wren.
