A short morning walk along what was the old Ronda road above Benarraba and Algatocin produced some good sightings including:
Griffon Vulture, Common Kestrel, Common Raven, European Bee-eater, Eurasian Hoopoe, Black Wheatear, Black-eared Wheatear, Stonechat and Cirl Bunting.
Late in the afternoon a quick stop at Encinas Borrachas on the way back from Ronda produced Southern Grey Shrike, Woodchat Shrike and Spectacled Warbler!
