Birdwatch Gaucin

The aim of this blog is to record bird sightings in and around Gaucin. We have a fantastic variety of birds that live in and visit the area and it would be great to have somewhere where we can publish observations for others to see. Haven't been out much for the past couple of weeks due to various appointments and the small matter of redecorating the flat! The sighting of a superb drake Garganey on the local gravel pit/lake was the highlight.
I'm missing the raptor migration over Gaucin, though I need to be vigilant as someone saw two Hobby over their house just a couple of km from us!
