A mid-afternoon walk along the La Umbria footpath was very quiet in terms of birds seen, with just 20 European Bee-eater, a couple of Short-toed Eagle and a Great-spotted Woodpecker of note. There were, however, at least 3 Iberian Chiffchaff and 3 Bonelli's Warbler singing; Common Cuckoo and Green Woodpecker were also heard.
