The aim of this blog is to record bird sightings in and around Gaucin. We have a fantastic variety of birds that live in and visit the area and it would be great to have somewhere where we can publish observations for others to see. Thursday 09 February, North Norfolk, UK, cloudy, cold, 1C: A visit to Wells and the rspb reserve at Titchwell produced some good birds including Fieldfare, Avocet, Spotted Redshank, Redshank, Bar-tailed Godwit, Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin, Sanderling, Curlew, Ringed Plover, Lapwing, Turnstone, Oystercatcher, Water Rail, Wigeon, Shoveler, Teal, Goldeneye, Smew, Pintail, Grey Heron, Bittern, Little Grebe, Great-crested Grebe and my bird of the day, Slavonian Grebe.
