Wednesday 13 May 2015, Gaucin, mostly sunny, light SE wind, 31C

A very warm day today, but relatively cool down on the Rio Genal from 0915-1045hrs. Surprisingly, not a single raptor to be seen. Species logged were:
3 Little-ringed Plover, Eurasian Jay, 6 Turtle Dove, Collared Dove, Wood Pigeon, 20+ European Bee-eater, 3 Golden Oriole, Common Swift, Pallid Swift, Barn Swallow, Red-rumped Swallow, White Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, Blackbird, European Robin,  Common Nightingale, the first Spotted Flycatcher of the year, Sardinian Warbler, Iberian Chiffchaff, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Chaffinch and Cirl Bunting; Cetti's Warbler was heard.
Trust the 'best' photo to be of a shy male Golden Oriole!

Less shy but much further away!
