The aim of this blog is to record bird sightings in and around Gaucin. We have a fantastic variety of birds that live in and visit the area and it would be great to have somewhere where we can publish observations for others to see. Friday 22 October, behind Gaucin castle, 1100-1200hrs, partly cloudy: Not a great deal happening, a couple of Blue rock thrush feeding off the big rocks, lots of Robin, Blackcap, Sardinian warbler, a Willow warbler, Booted eagle and one or two Griffon vulture. Flocks of 10+ Crag martin and a single House martin.
